feeling alittle down these past few days. maybe it's the weather? actually, i think it's pms... i seem to go down in the dumps alot when i'm expecting my period. i hate doing this every month! maybe i'll ask my doctor for a non-habitual remedy that i can take when i'm pms-ing... i don't get much of the other typical symptoms, just a lower mood, and occasional headaches. of course, i shouldn't rely on medicine; maybe go out and exercise?
not looking forward to training for this peer coaching thing. maybe i shouldn't have signed up for it... i wonder if it's too late to back out?? :(
in the process of cleaning out crap from my room. a lot of unnecessary stuff accumulated in the past year. trying to make more shelf space. need to bring my (non-text) books to the used bookstore to see if they will buy some of them. otherwise, they go to charity :)
my paper shredder keeps getting clogged. it's very annoying. the one we have at home almost never clogs. maybe i need to get a new one? but i don't want to spend so much money on a paper shredder.. hmm.
went to chapters today and got another book. (yes, this is how my bookshelf piles up.) i'm always looking for new stuff to read. and music, too, i'm in dire need of new stuff right now. listening to angela aki that i picked up at home, but need more stuff! (i get bored easily.) will take recommendations. ;)
jetlag is almost gone, altho, the sun sets really late here and that needs getting used to. also trying to get used to the lack of humidity. my face is drying up like crazy, so is my hair. i didn't really notice it b4 i went back home, but now i do. strange.
group interview for coaching program went well, very informal, discussed how we would tackle students. training next week. and the week after that, josh is back! and my mom is stopping by on her way back from NY.
i'm baaaaaaaaaack! and loving the weather. nice and cool. altho, a bit chilly for miniskirts? which is a shame. that's all i wore at home.
got a new cell phone today. after seeing the super-advanced phones in japan, i couldn't stand looking at my junky phone i have here. so i went and got a new one. :P
josh is moving into his sister's old apartment, and i had to go help his parents move his stuff in. josh himself is not here, he's off being tourist-y in cambodia. i'm helping him now cuz we made a deal that i get to use his bathtub when he's back. (my dorm doesn't have a bathtub! *tear*)
a few more days and i'll finally be back in vancouver. it's freaking hot here in japan and i don't think i can stand it much longer.
finished the last harry potter book, the ending was kinda lame, but overall it was ok. at least it's over - no more speculation. i've decided not to see any more of the movies (i've only seen up to the 3rd one) so harry potter is over for me.
